Thank you for 50,000 pageviews!
I was long time deciding if I should draw a "thank you" picture...a friend told me it is polite and good and not showing off as I originaly thouth.
I decided to draw me for you all.
I thank you very much for your kind support, dear comments, faves which are really apricciated and for wonderfull critique, which is never enough.
I dedicate this picture to my dear friend

The picture it self is illustration to this:
"Birds need freedom, they must fly away, fishes need pond to live together. If all the birds would fly all the time in sky free and fishes wouldn´t need to fly in search for ponds - the utopic paradise would be here in this world."
I am giving the pond deeply from my heart.

I love how, at least to my untrained eye, certain elements like cut of the kimono, the draperies in the background and the brazier with the fish in it seem to be inspired by Greek artwork. Not to mention the colors... it's such a shame that so many people are coloring everything on computer now when watercolor (at least I'm assuming it's watercolor) can be as beautiful as this.
